A Primary School No. 4 is located in Leszno, Poland. The school is proud of its almost a 100-year-old history and tradition. It opened its door to students in 1920 after the World War I. By June 2018 the students of our school had to learn in 3 old buildings. But the new school year of 2018 began in a new, very modern and spacious building.
The new school building now contains several well equipped, modern classrooms (interactive whiteboards in every classroom), the library, the canteen and a large gym. Outside there is a large play area for pupils. The children have also access to the sports field which is usually used for PE lessons, sports competitions and games. Our school is a community gathering students from 7 to 15 years old, from grade 1 to 8. The school assemblies 280 students.
The school calendar is full of various events that are carried out during the whole year. We participate in lots of projects and school events such as: e.g. ''An Annual Reading Day'', Autumn School Festival, Christmas Charity Concert, Patron's Day Adam Mickiewicz, Days of Languages, Maths and Science Projects Days, AFL Days ( Assessment For Learning Days), Sports Day, Children's Day and more.
We have lots of success in various sports disciplines, especially athletics and orienteering.
